Very simple recipe. I don't like raisins in my cookies so I added some walnuts.

My husband and two teenage boys are the cookie monsters in our home. I made the recipe exactly as it's written with one exception...my youngest son doesn't like to "see" the oatmeal in the cookie so I put the dry oatmeal in my food processor and pulsed it 4-5 times then added it my cookie mixture. They were a HUGE success!

Our family really enjoyed this recipe. I followed it with no substitutions and the results were great. The cookies were really chewy and absolutely delicious!

I made these over the weekend & they came together very quickly. I refrigerated the prepared dough for about an hour & the edges were crispy w/the center chewy. I think my husband got a one every time he passes the cookie jar.

How much is one stick of butter? In canada are sticks are over 2 cups. So 2 cups of butter? Thanks. I really want to make these tonight.

Yum! Thanks. I chose this recipe because the butter amount was 1 stick vs. 1&1/2 like a couple of the others (i prefer not to half that half in the fridge possibly absorbing odors). Anyways, glad i chose this recipe -easy & delicious!
