A simple recipe for those who want to make chocolate chip cookies without the hassle of dropping batter into individual cookies. These buttery, chewy bar cookies are totally scrumptious... Make them with or without the coconut and/or nuts. If desired, substitute white, milk chocolate, bittersweet, or peanut butter chips for the semisweet chips called for in the recipe.

Gr1mace , 1 years agoThese are our family's favorites! Today I added 2 heaping TBS of cocoa and 1/2 tsp peppermint extract. I also decreased the flour 2 TBS, and added 2 TBS milk. Yum!

moragpuddick , 1 years agoMade this today, very nice, I made it in 2 tins as I didn't have a tin big enough, I didn't add nuts as the kids don't like them, if I had time I would of drizzled melted chocolate on top, but will make again for sure :)
