(And I hate chicken salad!)"the reviews called my attention to this one, we were in need of a fast chick-salad for unexpected guests. i had some back-yard smoked chicken in the fridge from the day before. the only thing i changed was reducing the mayo a bit. as the prior reviewers indicated, this had a stellar flavor.

Sonoma Chicken Salad Preparation
Prepare the dressing by thoroughly mixing together all dressing ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate until ready to dress the salad. The dressing can be prepared 2 days ahead.
Prepare/cook chicken. When the chicken is cooked and chilled, dice into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a large bowl. Stir in pecans, grapes, celery and dressing.
