Original recipe makes 4
2 Sweet Potatoes; cut into fries
1 tbspCanola or Vegetable Oil
1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
1/2 tspGarlic Powder
1/4 tspCayenne Pepper
1/8 tspCumin
1 tspSeasoning Salt

Spicy Sweet Potato Fries Preparation

Preheat oven to 425F.

Throw all the ingredients in a bag and shake until fries are evenly coated with spices.

Lay the fries onto a baking sheet (or two, if necessary) so that no fries are overlapping. Bake for 30 mins. Flip all of the fries and bake for another 30 mins.

Serve on their own or with ketchup or southwest sauce.

    Has a very nice spice to it. Recommend cutting the potato into thick pieces. They really shrink in the oven!

    substituted seasoning salt for 'cajun spices' and it came out pretty well. little on the spicy side. When I made it for my mom's side of the family, I left out the cayenne, and they also came out great.
