A delicious and easy recipe for your Thanksgiving table that you can make ahead. This recipe was in the Family Circle magazine.

Pour 1/4 cup caramel topping into the pie crust and sprinkle with 1/2 cup pecans.
Beat milk, dry pudding mixes, pumpkin and spices with whisk until blended. Stir in 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip. Spread filling into crust. Top with remaining Cool Whip.
Refrigerate 1 hour. Top with remaining pecans and drizzle remaining caramel with fork. Store in refrigerator.

jamiegrinnell 1 year agoWhere's the chocolate? It can't be called turtle without the chocolate. I'll be using chocolate and caramel to drizzle on top. That'll make it a true turtle :)

Haileydickens 1 year agoSuper good! Its like a whipped cream version of pumpkin pie. Super good. Ohh and this was the recipe that I learned how to 'drizzle' caramel. Make sure to just dip the spoon in the caramel and drizzle like that. Dont get a spoon full of it

Amhensley 1 year agoI love this pie. I took it to work and it made the biggest riot! Be careful if cut in 8 pieces with 10 employees! P.S. Use a thick caramel sauce. Magic Shell is great idea. Thanks!

bakergirl5 3 years agoI made this pie once and i really liked it i made it thanksgiving weekend and had to use dreamwhip instead of coolwhip, so it probably wasnt the best the first time i made it, i am remaking this for christmas with all the right stuff but i would like to know what the best pumpkin pie filling is best to use?

mom_morals 5 years agoI used the magic shell caramel. OMG, the crunchyness turned it from good to great. The pecans harden up in the shell.YUMMY!
