Comfort food for those cool crisp nights
Put about 2 tbls Olive Oil into a large dutch oven and heat on medium high. Mince the garlic, rosemary, thyme and basil. Place the ground beef into the dutch oven along with the minced garlic, rosemary, thyme and basil. Cook until beef is browned and most of the liquid is gone. Add the tomatoes and 2 boxes of water and cook for about 15 mins. Add the cup of rice and cook for about 20 mins. Add some salt as the rice will absorb most of what you put in. When the rice is cooked taste the mixture and add salt and pepper to taste, add the bag of spinach and stir into mixture. Lower heat to simmer and stir ocassionaly. Serve in bowls with warm french bread on the side.
