2 tablespoonsSplenda
2 tablespoonsLime juice; fresh squeezed
1 pinchSalt; to taste
1/2 Teaspoonred pepper flakes; to taste
1 cupfresh pineapple; cubed
1/3 cupred cabbage; shredded
1/4 cupred onion; thinly sliced
1/4 cupMint leaves; torn fresh
1 Teaspoonlime zest; minced fine

Sweet-spicy Pineapple Salad Preparation

Simmer Splenda, lime juice, salt, and pepper flakes in a saucepan over medium until syrupy, about 4 minutes; cool.

Toss pineapple, cabbage, onion, mint, and lime zest together in bowl. Drizzle with cooled syrup and toss to coat.

The dressing was fun, the pineapple and onion worked, but all together it just didn't work for us.

Excellent and so different. I used sugar vs. Splenda and doubled the red pepper flakes for extra zing.
