"What a great sandwich! This is officially one of my favorite things to have for lunch. It is somewhat time consuming though. If you are looking for a quick lunch, make this another day."- jgmitchell

On four slices of bread, layer cheese and tomatoes; sprinkle with basil, vinager, salt and pepper. Top with remaing bread.
In a small bowl, combine the oil, parmesan cheese and garlic powder; brush over the outsides of each sandwhich. On a griddle, cook sandwhiches over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.

hanan@home 5 years agoThis recipe has all the flavor of a caprese salad in sandwich form. Yum! I didn't have any french bread, so I used whole grain. I used just a spray of vinegar and next time I would brush the oil on the bread and then press the sandwich into the parmesan cheese. Can't wait to try again using french bread!
