Cocktails are a passion of mine, and so I feel compelled to point out three very specific corrections to this recipe. Please try to take this as 'constructive' input, and not personally...

1. This is not a 'Martini'. A Martini is 'A' specific recipe, and not a classification. It does not refer to any drink served in a 'Martini' glass, any more than any drink served in an 'Old Fashioned' glass is known as an 'Old Fashioned', or any drink served in a wine glass is known as a 'wine'.

2. This isn't the recipe for a 'Lemon Drop'. The Lemon Drop is supposed to reflect the taste of the lemon drop candies, which are made simply from sugar and citric acid. A real Lemon Drop just includes Vodka, Sugar (or simple syrup), and Lemon Juice. No triple sec, and definately no Margarita mix.

3. 'Margarita Mix' (or Sour Mix, or Sweet & Sour, or...) should be avoided at all costs. You are already using fresh lemon juice and sugar in this recipe, and that is all that a real 'Sour Mix' is. And a 'Margarita Mix' will usually have an 'orange flavoring' of some sort in it as well, and your recipe is already using triple sec, so that removes the need for adding that.
