Bernice's Bake Beans- My Mom's Recipe for simple and wonderfully delicious Bake Navy Beans with cubs of ham, onion, garlic, and tomatoes. Easy to make, incredible to eat!

1 1/2 poundsNavy Beans
2 1/2 quartsWater
1 1/2 cupKetchup
1 12-oz canTomatoes Whole Canned
8 SliceBacon
1 poundHam; dices into 1/2 inch cubes
2 eaOnions
4 clovesgarlic
1 teaspoonGround Mustard
2 1/4 cupsDark Brown Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoonsalt
1 teaspoonblack pepper

Bernice's Baked Beansmy Mom's Baked Bean Recipe and One Of My Favorites Preparation

In the pressure cooker add beans, water, salt, and pepper, bring mixture to a boil. Dice 1 onion an add to mixture, add ground mustard and using a garlic press, crush the garlic and add into mix. Boil until bean are firm not fully cooked approx. 45 to 60 minutes. Decant off liquid retain 2 cups to use if needed while baking. Add ketchup, brown sugar, diced tomatoes, dice and add remain onion and the diced ham. Mix and pour into a Pyrex bowel. Place strips of bacon over bowel and bake in a 350? Oven for approx. 2 Hours
