This is VERY easy to put together! Finding the kirsch was the hardest part, but it was well worth the effort. Feeds a lot of people and was the hit of the meal!

Part of the instructions seem to be missing. It doesen't explain what to do with the canned cherry pie filling. I know you layer it, I assume after the cake, before the cool whip. I plan to make it and will add shaved chocolate curls on top. I think the Kirsch should be added to the cherry pie filling to make it a bit runnier.

I'd like to make this but want to know what to do with the Kirsch? Do I pour it over everything or mix it into an ingredient?
