4 lbOnions; sliced or diced
1 tbLemon zest
Salt to taste
4 tbHungarian paprika
5 lbBeef chuck; cubed
2 ozWhite vinegar
Bay leaf
4 ozVegetable oil
1 tsMarjoram, ground

Weiner Saft Gulasch (Viennese Beef Goulash) Preparation

Saute onions in vegetable oil, browning well. Add vinegar, deglazing lightly. Add all other ingredients, except meat; blend well. Add meat. Cover and simmer slowly until meat is tender.
