4 cupsOats, Whole; (Quaker Oats Will do.)
4 cupsWheat Flakes
2 cupsWheat germ
1 cupsSunflower Seeds; raw
2 cupsCoconut; (optional)
2 cupsCashews; Raw sliced or chopped
2 cupsAlmonds; Raw sliced or chopped
2 cupsRaisins
1 tablespoonCinnamon
4 tablespoonVanilla extract
3/4 cupolive oil
3/4 cupHoney

Musli Cereal, European Preparation

Mix all grains and nuts together in a very large bowl. (Don't add Raisins yet)

In a sauce pan, add oil and honey and heat on medium heat until it starts to boil. Turn off stove and add slowly the vanilla extract.

Pore honey mixture over the grains and nuts while mixing together to try and coat the mixture with the honey and oil as best you can.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spread mixture out on large pans so that it's only about an inch deep. Cook the musli for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes until browned.

Take out of oven and allow to completely cool down. Add Raisins and mix together.

You can serve it with fresh fruit, milk or yogurt (flavored or plain).

Serving size is only 1/2 cup, but it's packed with a lot of good fats and nutrients.
