2 Onions; chopped
2 carrots; chopped
2 stalkscelery; chopped
2 teaspoonsSalt
1 teaspoonPepper
4 cupsWater
2 1/2 poundswhole frying chicken; up to 3.5 pounds
1 cupChopped fresh parsley
1 1/2 cupsegg noodles; small or medium
1 cuppeas

Barb's Chicken Noodle Soup Preparation

Put everything EXCEPT parsley, peas and noodles into Crockpot. Cook on Low 8-10 hours or High 4-6 hours. One hour before serving, remove chicken, cool slightly, remove all meat and add it back to Crockpot. Add remaining ingredients and cook one more hour, this time on High.
