Ready in 45 minutes
These brownies need to be baked so a knife inserted comes out clean.
The brownies will be moist. Preparation time is approximately 30-45 minutes.
"These brownies are amazing and so simple! From the taste, you would think the recipe would call for mega ingredients. I read the reviews and made a couple adjustments. I used a whole bag of Ghirardelli Chocolate Baking Chips (semi-sweet), which was only about 1/2 cup more than the recipe called for and I used the entire block of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, which was only 2 more ounces than what was called for in the recipe. Again, they were awesome! Thanks for sharing this wonderful secret."- Msljeff

lillyn25 2 months agoI am the one who posted this recipe and I did try adding the additional chocolate and cream cheese that Msljeff had suggested. I did not have good luck as it changed the consistency of the batters and they did not set up as I would like. The original recipe was given to me 31 years ago by a couple of Italian sisters. The recipe had been in their family for many years. I do think each person should go with their personal preference, but I continue to stay with the original recipe. Enjoy! lillyn25

trishaguiar 2 years agoI made these for a party the other day... Everyone loved them... One of the first things to go. Will def be making this again!
spices 4 years agoI made these for a large group and everyone seemes to like these. The bake time seemed off in order for mine to get done. I covered the top of the brownies with foil to keep the top from getting any browner because the tops were almost overdone and the middle was still goo. other than that they were a big hit.
1MoreCreative 4 years agoThese were good, and I may make them again, but they were not as chocolately as I would have liked despite the fact that I melted Mercken's Dark Chocolate. Also, they were a bit too sweet.
