This is an excellent way to serve up any form of venison or other meat.
Mix sauce ingredients in slow cooker pot then add venison. Cook on high for 4 - 5 hours or low for 8 - 10 hours. Test for tenderness as needed.
You can serve it with Stove Top Stuffing or Minute Rice. It is also good over a thick slice of homemade bread or plain with rye bread and butter.
Vegetables (corn, carrots, or green beans) are optional.
I'm not sure who Billy is. The recipe was in my brother-in-law's files and he makes it often. The sauce was a bit sweet for my taste but others thought it was just right. You could use a spicier version of BBQ sauce if that suites your tastes.
