Whoopie Pies
These are like homemade oreos only soft. I don't know where Mom got this recipe, but it was something that I made quite often as a teenager. More recently my friends have been requesting them.
"Love this recipe. Added crushed candy cane to frosting for one batch. Added peanut butter to another batch of frosting to give it that chocolate/pb flare. It was great to present 3 flavors of whoopie pies. Like the sour cream added to the cookie. Thank you for sharing."
