OhioChef101 , 3 years agoThe apple crisps were good but the sugar, graham cracker mix was not the best.

CaliCook_916 , 3 years agoVery tasty and very easy. I substituted apples for pears and blackberries. Was delicious and my kids loved it!
slaglemark , 3 years agoEasy and the topping is wonderful. Family loved this. Use a small deep dish.

dprocunier , 4 years agoA simple and excellent version of this classic. Of course peeling the apples always takes the time. We freeze them peeled and can enjoy apples through the winter. I didn't make any changes to this recipe and my family loved it.
sgrishka , 5 years agoThis was quick and easy to make. The addition of graham crackers in the topping made for a delightfully unique and delicious apple crisp. I did prepare it a little differently to satisfy my families love of cinnamon. I tossed the apples with 2-3 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, and 2 tsp. lemon juice before covering with the topping. I also cut the nutmeg to about 1/2 tsp. and increased the cinnamon to about 1 1/2 tsp. in the topping. I think another good variation on this recipe would be to substitute crushed ginger snaps for graham crackers -- I'll be trying that next...
