| 4 cupscabbage; (about 1 lb), shredded |
| 1 largeOnions; chopped |
| 1/4 cupmilk |
| 1 TbsButter |
| 4 ouncesCheddar cheese; shredded |
| 1 teaspoonSalt |
| 1/2 teaspoonBlack pepper |
Colcannon Preparation
Boil potatoes till tender, remove from water, then boil cabbage and onion in the water for five minutes. Mash potatoes with butter and milk and salt and pepper. Mix in cabbage and onion. Mix in cheese until melted.
