3 poundsBoneless pork shoulder roast
2 tablespoonsCooking oil
1 mediumOnion
1 tablespoonBeef bouillon
1 Bay leaf
1 mediumAcorn squash
4 mediumPotatoes
3 largecarrots; sliced
1/4 cupFlour

Harvest Pork Roast For The Crock Pot Preparation

Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Brown meat on all sides in hot oil. Place potatoes, carrots and squash pieces (eighths). Then add onions, seasonings, meat, 1 1/2 c water, and 1/8 tsp pepper. Cover, cook on low for 10-12.

For sauce, remove meat and veggies. Skim fat from juices. Measure 1 1/2 cups juices. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir one minute more. Season to taste. Serve with the meat and veggies.
