another easy crockpot meal!

"This was GREAT!!! Joined Big Oven yesterday afternoon and made this the first evening. I really enjoy garlic and added much more to the recipe as well as paprika. Very good, but next time I'll stick with the recommended amount of paprika.

1 teaspoonSalt
1/2 teaspoonPepper
1 1/2 teaspoonsPaprika
2 Bay Leaf; fresh
1 14.5-oz candiced tomatoes
1 cupSour cream

Hungarian Goulash Preparation

Put meat, onion, garlic and flour in Crockpot, mix to coat. Add everything EXCEPT sour cream and mix. Cook low 8-10 hours (high 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally). Add the sour cream 30 mins before serving and mix thoroughly. Serve over hot noodles.

UPDATE: the last time I made this, I used only 1 tsp of paprika instead of 1 1/2 and my Hungarian wife said it was like being transported back to her childhood when her own father used to make it...excellent recipe

This smelled so good all day. I used FF sour cream but you could use plain yogurt. I also listened to another reviewer and used less paprika. I think either way would be fine.

Omg so easy to make and my wife who is Hungarian said it tasted just like home. Her only suggestion was a tad less paprika but otherwise excellent
