Original recipe makes 4 Servings
2 cupsWater
1 cupChicken Stock
1 cupPolenta; quick or instant type
125 millilitersCream; thick / heavy
1/4 cupParmesan; finely grates
50 gramsButter
Salt and pepper

Creamy Soft Polenta Preparation

Bring water and stock to the boil

Using a balloon whisk, stir in polenta in a thin steady stream

Reduce heat to low and simmer until polenta is thick and grains soft (it should also "fall away" from the sides of the pan as you stir).

Add cream, parmesan, butter and salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste, all the time stirring

Serve immediately
