Aarongagnon 11 month agoPretty good. Next time I'll use 1/2 cup of sugar though. Carrots, blocks of feta and cheddar are a good addition as well.
lisacrooke 4 years agoI thought this recipe would be great. Way too much sugar. I would make it again, but cut back on the sugar (probably from 3/4 to 1/4 cup), reduce the green peppers and add some celery.
sgrishka 5 years agoI wanted a simple yet tasty macaroni salad that was original and unique...this was it! I really liked this recipe. It was easy to make and absolutely delicious -- tasting very similar to my maternal grandma's. I withheld from adding additional ingredients, but this traditional, old-fashioned macaroni salad just begs for your personal add-ins to satisfy your families taste. For my taste, I used elbow macaroni and only added about three quarters of the boiled dressing to create a flavorful yet drier salad with just a bit of cruch from the veggies (as seen in my photo). The pasta soaks up most of the dressing as it chills. For a creamier salad, simply follow the recipe and add all of the dressing.
