Ingredients

2 cups Water; hot
2 cups Whole milk; boiled
2 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup Honey
1/4 cup Canola oil
1 3/4 tablespoon Salt
2 large Eggs; beaten
1 3/4 tablespoon Yeast
1/2 cup Water; warm
7 cups Whole wheat flour
2 1/2 cups White flour

Original recipe makes 40

Preparation

Mix first 3 ingredients; cool ? hour. Dissolve yeast in ? cup warm water. Mix all ingredients together adding the flour last. Knead until dough is smooth. Divide dough into 4 greased loaf pans and let rise in warm place for 30-60 minutes. Bake at 375? for 40 minutes or until bread sounds hollow when tapped. Tastes great to brush tops with butter when removed from oven. Works awesome in a Bosch mixer - just stop adding flour when the dough stops sticking to the sides of the mixing bowl.
