Old southern style recipe,Not for the person who's watching there calories. This pie is sweet,rich and and has a custard style texture. Exellent served hot or cold !!! This pie is one of my all time favorites. This recipe is simple to make and your guest's will LOVE IT !!!!
Mix all ingredients well and pour into 2 (two) unbaked pie shells.Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 325? degree oven. If a puddle of butter forms in the middle of the pie, pour off and return to the oven. Test with tooth pick to make sure pie is done. (tooth pick will come out clean when pie is done.
Serve warm or cold,garnish with whipped cream and or a lemon wedge
