"Nice base, but as is a little bland. Add other seasonings or maybe use spicy sausage. Second time used extra spicy Mrs. Dash when cooking sausage and it helped that some. But next time will add more seasoning still. Also find that the milk should be halved. Tried it that way and it was much better. | 1 poundhash brown potatoes; frozen |
| 1/2 Onion; chopped |
| 1/2 Green bell pepper; chopped |
| 1/2 poundground sausage or cubed ham |
| 1 cupCheddar cheese; shredded |
| 6 Eggs |
| 1 cupmilk |
| Salt and Pepper; to taste |
Breakfast In A Slow Cooker Preparation
Cook sausage until no longer pink. Spray inside of slow cooker with cooking
spray. Place 1/2 of the hashbrowns in bottom, layer 1/2 of each bell
pepper, onion, crumbled sausage, and cheese. Repeat the layering process.
In a bowl, add eggs, milk and salt and pepper; mix well. Pour over
ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. (Be sure
and check this after 4 hours if using a new crockpot).
