Breakfast In A Slow Cooker

Ready in 45 minutes

haven't tried yet

"Nice base, but as is a little bland. Add other seasonings or maybe use spicy sausage. Second time used extra spicy Mrs. Dash when cooking sausage and it helped that some. But next time will add more seasoning still.

Also find that the milk should be halved. Tried it that way and it was much better.

Doubles fine in bigger crockpot. 6-8 hours was fine, more might have been too much."

Pretty good! I added mushrooms and an extra egg, and let it go overnight for breakfast in the morning.

Second time making this dish! We sauté the onions with the sausage and added some seasoning to the hash browns. We also added bacon, tomatoes and two extra eggs. For a spicy taste, add some dry red chili peppers when done! Yum!

Tried this this morning and tasted great! Used xtra sharp cheddar and a can of mild chilles intead of green peppers. Very flavorful! Taters got a little too done, and there was a lot of juice on the bottom of the crock pot. Maybe I'll cook it just 6 hours next time! Thanks for the great recipe!

This came out a little bland for. Salt and pepper to taste is keys. I'm gonna take another shot at this with some more punchy peppers and about 1lb of bacon. I found it to be a good base to work from.
