Buffalo Wings (Hot Wings)
For deliciously crisp dry-style buffalo wings...place sauce coated wings in a 450 degree F oven for a few minutes to "bake on" the sauce and get an extra-crispy coating.

Buffalo Wings (Hot Wings)

Incredibly, crisp, spicy, lip smackingly good, deep-fried Buffalo Wings! There is nothing like the real crisp-on-the-outside moist-and-chewy-on-the-inside texture of these fried wings. I particularly like the wonderful balance of flavor and spiciness that Frank's Red Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce adds...and, in my mind, there is "no" adequate substitute for this recipe. This hot wing recipe can be easily adjusted to suit your families taste. For spicier wings, use the higher measurements for the cayenne pepper and Tabasco sauce; for milder wings, use the lower measrements...and for an even milder sauce, simply increase the amount of margarine to taste. Spicy or mild, it doesn't matter...just make a lot because they're very good and they're eaten very quickly!

Up until recently we could not get Frank's sauce here in Australia. It is now available and what a difference to the outcome...nothing better and what a way to survive even our mild winters.

Amazing sauce & chicken recipe. I prepared all sauce ingredients to marinate a few hours prior & added the franks hot sauce just before cooking ! My family loved it !!!

just nothing better than franks for buffalo wings... great combo with a homeade pizza. personally i think good blue cheese dressing is also critical to a good wing and this one is pretty good.

Sauce just didn't coat the wings or get thick enough. Had to pour hot sauce over wings to get a taste.

I have a crazy pepper sauce from Spain that works well with this. Think it's also fun experimenting with different sauces til u get your favourite ( still haven't found one that tastes quite as amazing as the one TGI Fridays use for their hot wings though!)

So good, I used thighs instead of wings. The blue cheese dip is great too. I substituted ranch dressing for mayo..yum
