Zippy Pineapple Baked Chicken Breasts

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Poultry - Chicken

A pineapple glaze that tastes truly Hawaiian flavors this chicken while it bakes by itself in the oven. Great with rice, a green vegetable, and a salad of crisp greens.

"I made this last weekend and am making it again tonight. This recipe will be come a regular in my household. I added a fresh mango and a bit of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce to give it a little heat. The sauce is delicious! My husband is a vegetarian, so we also prepare his veggie chik patties with the sauce. I plan to try the sauce on slow baked baby back ribs as well." - dorceynaber

I loved it with white rice.

It was good, but I felt the mustard drowned out some of the other flavors. Next time I'll add a little less or maybe a different type and see what happens.

My entire family (& even the neighborhood children) loved it! Whenever I do a new recipe, everyone rates it so I can decide if I should make it again. Before I even asked I was getting '10!!!' from all. This has been added to our regular meal plan!

Oh my goodness, this was delicious! I halved the sugar, as several reviews stated it was very sweet, and it was perfect. I also added cornstarch. It is a definite new favorite for our house!

I made this for dinner tonight and it was so easy and very yummy. I ran out of brown sugar though and had to use regular sugar. Looking forward to trying it again with brown sugar. On a side note, this recipe was so easy my seven year did it. She loved being able to make dinner (for the most part).

My family ate this all up-it was better than OK, but not outstanding. It's going on the keeper shelf tho, cause the picky eater didn't complain.

Good chicken. Cook time is a little long. Chicken got a bit dry. I recommend 20 then glaze and do another 20 to 30 minutes. Glaze is also a little too sweet. I will try less sugar next time.

I find that if you cut it up when it's done place it in a bowl with the juice and eat it the next day it's even better
