My Mom and Dad both made this recipe with slight modifications. This one is my personal favorite!

Ingredients

Are you making this? 
2 pounds flank steak
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup honey or brown sugar
1/4 cup lemon juice; sherry or marsala
4 tablespoons Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon Ground ginger
2 cloves Garlic; crushed
1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
2 teaspoons ground dry mustard

Preparation

1. Combine all marinade ingredients in mixing bowl

2. Punch holes in steak with meat fork on both sides.

3. Place meat and marinade in ziplock bag or glass bowl. Allow tomarinate for 12-24 hours before cooking.

4. Broil steak rare (3 - 5 mins per side)
