I have made this recipe with cherries, blueberries, peaches, and even canned fruit if whatever I am craving is not in season. Serve with ice cream if you want.

Original recipe makes 1
4 peaches
1 cupAll-purpose flour
1/2 cupSugar
2 teaspoonsBaking Powder
1/4 teaspoontable salt
1/2 cupfat-free skim milk
8 TbsMargarine
1 teaspoonVanilla extract
1/2 cupWater
1 cupSugar

Mom's Fruit Cobbler Preparation

1. Spray a glass (9x9) pie pan with Baker's Joy. Line pan with fresh fruit(peaches, cherries, blueberries, apples, etc.

2. In separate bowl, prepare batter by mixing dry ingredients, then addingmilk, margarine, and vanilla. Pour batter over fruit and spread evenly overtop.

3. Mix 1/2 cup water with 1 cup sugar well, then pour slowly over batter.

4. Bake at 350? for 1 hour
