Lemon Jello Cake
Simple and very lemony. Delicious.
"This is a great all purpose cake. In my family, we even use it as a birthday cake. In the summer there is nothing better on a hot day than to pull a piece out of the freezer and eat it. We too had lost the recipe until my sister happened on it in an old cook book she got from our Mom after she passed. We often make it with a white cake mix. Lemon Jello Cake Preparation
Cake:
Combine cake mix, jello, water and oil and beat for three minutes.
Add eggs and beat for three more minutes.
Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
Glaze:
Mix lemon juice and sugar. Pour over cake after poking holes all over the top of the cake with a fork. Put glaze on while cake is still warm.
