5 Minute Bread Dough Preparation
Place 2 Cups flour and 1 tablespoon yeast in bowl to electric mixer and stir (the dough hook does not work well with this little amount). To 1 cup of hot water add the salt and sugar and stir until dissolved. Add vegetable oil. Stir into flour and yeast, then turn mixer up and knead until elastic. Add additional flour until dough begins to pull away from sides of bowl- it will be sticky. Turn dough onto floured surface and knead lightly. Let rest 5 minutes. Now you are ready to shape the dough:
*roll dough to desired shape for pizza crust
*roll into rectangle, brush with melted butter and slice with pizza cutter into long strips for soft breadsticks. Bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
*shape into rolls, let rise about 10 minutes, bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes
*roll into rectangle, spread with desired filling(pepperoni, garlic butter, cinnamon sugar, anything that sounds good), roll up like cinnamon rolls and bake whole loaf or slice and bake rolls.
