Quick, Easy, and Yum!

"Simple and easy. My first attempt had a funny, bitter aftertaste. Turns out it was the beer I used. I will be making this again, as soon as I have a more reliable beer in my fridge. however, it was still quite tasty when toasted with honey butter. " - thetkdgirl

Yum!! I used our local Glenwood Brewing Company Raspberry Wheat Ale (Glenwood Springs, CO), some wheat flour, 1/4 cup sugar, and added black pepper and garlic salt. Delish. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

I loved it. Just made my first loaf! I saw some variations by others who tried this one and they all look good. Definitely something I'm making on the regular.

I made this into muffins, liked the sweetness and added sesame seed to the tops. Let it sit for an hour before sliding them into the oven and they were lighter in texture.
Good with chili, fast little breads and will make again.

Made this last night with guiness, and cut the sugar in half. Was still a little sweet but over all it went with my stew amazingly!!

I've made this many times! It's wonderful. I love that the flavor can be different based on the type beer used

What kind of beer did everyone else use? I used Miller Light because it's just what we had but the beer flavor was so strong in the bread. Is that normal or should it be more subtle?
