Roasted Cauliflower

A long time family favorite; this simple, easy and great tasting recipe combines roasted cauliflower with browned butter. Roasting brings out maximum flavor from the cauliflower and results in a scrumptious caramelized crust, a tender and creamy inside, with a slightly sweet and nutty flavor. The addition of browned butter both enhances and intensifies the nutty flavor and imparts richness.

I've made this many times before. I do not ordinarily like cauliflower. I left out the lemon juice and added thyme and onion. Excellent and different way to have this bland side!!

This was OK. It had good flavor, but I don't think it was anything special. I would probably make it again.

Took away from the flavor of the cauliflower - only tasted lemon & oil. Perhaps double garlic, less lemon and more brown butter would give the nutty sweetness the recipe promised. Not bad, but not good.

This is really a good snack. The butter puts it over the top. It's a good side dish, too.

Very tasty recipe for cauliflower. However,discovered when serving it that Picky Wife HATES cauliflower! So, guess I won't be fixing this great recipe again any time soon.

Love this recipe..I use for broccoli and carrots, too. Never use garlic, just a touch of garlic salt.

Delicious! Will probably put a little less lemon (just a preference) but it was a great side that mirrored having a carbohydrate. Will make again and again.

Really good! I left the garlic whole while roasting and then mashed it at the end to toss with the cauliflower. Really no need for the butter, was very good just fresh from the oven.

Pleasantly surprised how good this is. My family is not a big fan of cauliflower but enjoyed this. I did sprinkle some grated asiago cheese on top before serving. Will make again !

I've lost count as to how many times I have made this recipe. The addition of lemon juice really enhances the flavor. I have also done half a head of cauliflower and half a head of broccoli with the same delicious results!
