Scotcheroos are like a rice krispie treat... only better!
"My nieces absolutely loved these scotcheroos! They were quick, easy and great tasting, albeit extremely rich. Next time I would double up on the chocolate-butterscotch layer. In my opinion, it would be a better chocolate to rice krispies ratio. For the best texture, do not press the cereal layer too firmly. | 1 cuplight corn syrup |
| 1 cuppeanut butter |
| 6 cupsrice krispies |
| 1 cupchocolate chips; (6 oz) |
| 1 cupbutter scotch chips; (6 oz) |
Scotcheroos Preparation
In a saucepan, bring to a boil sugar and corn syrup. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter. Add rice krispies. Blend well and press into a buttered 9x13 pan. Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. Spread on top of rice krispies. Let cool to room temperature.

Replaced half the Rice Krispies with Cocoa Krispies and replaced half the peanut butter with Nutella. The results...delicious chocolate euphoria!
