BEST EVER MAC N' CHEESE

Recipes »  Side Dish  »  Casseroles

This simple to make Mac n' Cheese is the best I've ever had! We don't have a family get together without it, and everybody that trys it wants the recipe. So here you go.

"I did like this dish. I would serve it again, but with modifications. I would not use as much corn starch - it was a little sticky - I would undercook the noodles a little and add a little more water. Once the sauce was absorbed and it had cooked warmed for the hour in the crock pot, the noodles were a little over-done for my taste....but overall very good and leftovers worked well, too!" - Grecco

Made this for dinner tonight. Used old white cheddar, romano and asiago and it turned out amazing. Added some garlic bread to the side. Perfection.

Great! Took it to church for a luncheon and people were fighting for it! Best yet, my daughter LOVED it! And she's very picky about her Mac & cheese!! Thank you! This will go into my family's favorites.

Simple recipe with great results. Time consuming to make, but there was nothing left after our family dinner.

Fast and easy and the whole family liked it. I used 2 cups each of sharp and mild cheddar with great results. Thanks for posting.

Loved this recipe and so does everyone I serve it to. Did split mild cheddar in half with my favorite mexican cheese. Also after mixed and ready to go go in oven inserted little chunks of velvetta and american cheese in the dish for surprise pockets of cheesy goodness, along with a good sprinkle of mexican cheese on top for looks.
