I modeled these tacos after my husband's favorite local Mexican restaurant. My husband now prefers mine and requests them often.

MammaDucky , 2 years agoAbsolutely fabulous. I didn't have any pablanos handy so instead used a bit of the adobo sauce from some chipotle peppers in adobo. I've also used a dried chipotley pepper (seeds removed) and simply pulled it out after cooking. Phenomenal flavor in this dish. This one is in our regular menu rotation! Leftover go onto nachos or mixed with BBQ sauce for sandwiches.
dolson10 , 2 years agoSo good! Can't wait to make it again!

mbourke8 , 2 years agoExcellent! The pork had really good flavor and was even better the 2nd day. This will go in regular menu rotation.
catier461 , 2 years agoWe are strictly a "beef taco" kinda family- I wanted to try this for a little change and it was a huge hit!
iheartlinus , 3 years agoReally good! I added a bottle of beer to the crockpot (a special edition coconut brew) and used a boneless pork loin. I seared the pork loin before placing it in the crockpot. Will definitely be making again!!
sarthur19 , 3 years agoGreat flavor! I didn't have time to make them in the crockpot, I covered in a pot for about two hours. Came out delicious!
Winemaker12 , 3 years agoGood. Very easy to make too.
Hheller , 3 years agoIt was pretty good!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Katiebeans , 3 years agoGreat recipe. I made it for the first time for my boyfriends family (his mom is a great cook so I was nervous) and the loved it. Definitely will make this again. I also made brown rice with zucchini, yellow squash, red peppers, mushrooms, onions, and garlic and added some of the juice from the crockpot to it. Made a great side dish
CCheryl , 3 years agocant wait to make this, thanks for sharing, nice photo also, CCheryl
Mebiii , 3 years agoVERY easy to put together. Unbelievable flavor and the meat turned out very moist. We'll be making this again. It would be great for a party.
mommyfox25 , 3 years agoIt was okay! I thought it was too spicy.
mangemutt , 3 years agoFantastic! Ours took longer, but they were so worth the wait. Delicious. We only put in one poblano (we have young kids).
chergenroeder , 3 years agoThis dish was very good. I personally wanted a little more burst of flavor, but the wife thought it was great. I may play around with the spices, but I highly recommend this dish. Its a HUGE step up from our regular beef taco's. We will make again for sure.
Psalmchild63 , 3 years agoThis was really good. The lime, sour cream and salsa verde are perfect accompaniments. I plan to top it with BBQ sauce on day 2 to make pulled pork sandwiches.
nautique , 4 years agoawesome! i made it with wild hog. and it was awesome!!!!! had homemade tomatilla hot sauce already and that made it even better
