Reviews for Slow Cooked Pulled Pork Tacos

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Tacos, Burritos and Enchiladas

I modeled these tacos after my husband's favorite local Mexican restaurant. My husband now prefers mine and requests them often.

Really good! I added a bottle of beer to the crockpot (a special edition coconut brew) and used a boneless pork loin. I seared the pork loin before placing it in the crockpot. Will definitely be making again!!

Great flavor! I didn't have time to make them in the crockpot, I covered in a pot for about two hours. Came out delicious!

Great recipe. I made it for the first time for my boyfriends family (his mom is a great cook so I was nervous) and the loved it. Definitely will make this again. I also made brown rice with zucchini, yellow squash, red peppers, mushrooms, onions, and garlic and added some of the juice from the crockpot to it. Made a great side dish

VERY easy to put together. Unbelievable flavor and the meat turned out very moist. We'll be making this again. It would be great for a party.

It was okay! I thought it was too spicy.

Fantastic! Ours took longer, but they were so worth the wait. Delicious. We only put in one poblano (we have young kids).

This dish was very good. I personally wanted a little more burst of flavor, but the wife thought it was great. I may play around with the spices, but I highly recommend this dish. Its a HUGE step up from our regular beef taco's. We will make again for sure.

This was really good. The lime, sour cream and salsa verde are perfect accompaniments. I plan to top it with BBQ sauce on day 2 to make pulled pork sandwiches.

This was great! Fun and easy to make, and it tasted great. We did put the meat in a pan for a few minutes to make it a little crispier.

The spices smell heavenly. I have this in the crockpot right now and can't wait to try it. But, in the recipe you state to use half of the spices to rub the roast, but do not state what to do with the other half. Do you add them later or to taste??? Thanks.

I thought this was DELICIOUS! As garnish, I had fresh shredded cabbage, fresh cilantro, green salsa, fresh lime, avocado and crumbled feta. My guests were very impressed!! I would definitely make this again.

I made this for dinner last night. I used a 4 lb. pork shoulder and left out the cilantro because we don't care for it.....AND IT WAS AMAZING! My 3 picky sons went back for seconds and my husband said that it tasted like something he could get in a restaurant! OMG....he's never said that before!!!

Very good! I made the meat and used it for bbq sandwiches (just added bbq sauce at the end) then I used to the left over meat for pork tacos...very versatile recipe.

Leftover pork can be used for enchiladas or a casserole. It would even make a great sandwhich.
[I posted this recipe.]
