Creamy Garlic (veg) Pasta

|1 tablespoonOlive oil; add more to taste if you wish|
|2 clovesGarlic; finely chopped|
|Dried basil; to taste|
|1/3 cupParmesan cheese; grated|
|1 cupCream; add more to taste if you wish|
|2 Carrots; chopped into small cubes|
|2 cupsBroccoli; cut into small peices|
|1 packagelinguini or fettuccine|
|1 cupSun-dried tomatoes; optional|
|1 cupBacon or Ham; optional|
Creamy Garlic (veg) Pasta Preparation
Get pasta started as per preferred cooking method.
Chuck the veggies into a steamer to soften.
Over low-medium heat, combine Olive oil and butter in a medium/large saucepan. When butter is melted add garlic, parmesan & about ? teaspoon of basil or more to taste. Stir for about 2 minutes to release the garlic juices. Stir in cream and simmer until heated and mixed through. Add vegies and continue to simmer for 2-3 minutes. Optionally add sundried tomatoes and or bacon/ham.
Poor over cooked pasta and garnish with some fresh parsley.
