Original recipe makes 6
6 largeripe red tomatoes; diced
1 largesweet Walla Walla onion; chopped
3 largered bell peppers; cut and sliced
salt; to taste
paprika; to taste (optional)
cooking oil

Hungarian Lecso Preparation

Add oil to large pot, and saute the onions until glassy. Add red peppers and cook until soft. Add tomatoes, salt and paprika. Cook down for about 2 hours or until everything is completely soft and cooked through.

Serve with fresh buttered sourdough bread.

This can be served hot or cold.
