Hungarian Lecso
Original recipe makes 6
| 6 largeripe red tomatoes; diced |
| 1 largesweet Walla Walla onion; chopped |
| 3 largered bell peppers; cut and sliced |
| salt; to taste |
| paprika; to taste (optional) |
| cooking oil |
Hungarian Lecso Preparation
Add oil to large pot, and saute the onions until glassy. Add red peppers and cook until soft. Add tomatoes, salt and paprika. Cook down for about 2 hours or until everything is completely soft and cooked through.
Serve with fresh buttered sourdough bread.
This can be served hot or cold.
