This is a recipe my boyfriend's father from Fayetteville, AK made for us on a cold winter day in his beautiful mountain top cabin. It has tons of beans and good spice. Use any ground meat you'd like. Thanks Rick!

| 1 lbItalian Sausage |
| 1 largeOnion; diced |
| 1/2 bottlecapers; drained |
| 1 packetHidden Valley Ranch dressing mix |
| 1 packetMcCormick taco seasoning |
| 1 15-oz canHominy |
| 1 15-oz canPinto beans |
| 1 15-oz canBlack Beans |
| 1 15-oz canNavy Beans |
| 1 15-oz canKidney Beans |
| 1 candiced tomatoes |
| 1 jarsliced roasted red peppers |
| 2 tbspGarlic Powder |
| 1 tbspBlack Pepper |
| 2 cubesChicken Bouillon; dissolved in 2 c. water |
Ozark Stew Preparation
Brown the meat, add the onion and cook until tender. Add dressing mix and spices, cook 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, simmer 30 minutes. Basically, through it all in the pot and eat it when it's hot!
