|2 cupstoasted chopped walnuts; (optional)|
|0.75 tspcayenne pepper|
|2 tblinstant coffee|
|0.5 cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips; (optional)|
|6 squaresBAKER'S semi-sweet baking chocolate or bittersweet|
|1 tspCALUMET baking powder|
SPICY CHOCOLATE BROWNIE COOKIE Preparation
Microwave chocolates and butter in a large microwavable bowl on high1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until chocolateis almost melted, stirring halfway through heating time.
Stir until chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Stir sugar into chocolate until blended.
Mix in eggs and vanilla.
Flour the nuts and chocolate chips with 1 tbl of flour and set a side for now
Sift flour, cayenne pepper, instant coffee, baking powder and salt together, next .........Stir into sugar into chocolate mixture NOW stir in floured nuts and chocolate chips
Drop by rounded tablespoons, 1-1/2inches apart, onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until set on middle or upper oven rack at 325º
DO NOT OVERBAKE. remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely on wire racks.
Store in airtight container.
