Original recipe makes 0
2 lb.Ground beef
1 mediumcabbage; chopped
1 28-oz cantomatoes; crushed
Salt and pepper; to taste
2 clovesgarlic; minced
1 cupuncooked rice; (brown is ok)
3 onions; sliced fine
1/4 cupSugar
1 cantomato soup

Stuffed Cabbage Casserole Preparation

Brown meat with onions and garlic. Cook rice. Cover cabbage with water in pot and cook until done (save water); drain. Mix all ingredients (except reserved water) in casserole sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour covered. Use reserved water from cabbage if casserole becomes too dry while baking.

    Very good! Much easier to prepare than Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. I added shredded mozzarella for the last 10 minutes of baking. We will definitely have this dish again!

    I was given ground bison by a friend. I had never cooked bison and my family was skeptical. I used it in this recipe and it was wonderful.
