This has all the deliciousness of stuffed cabbage without the work!
"We loved this recipe. My uncle is from Syria and his cabbage rolls are in great demand. I took this recipe and added a little cinnamon--devine! It may sound weird for folks who only associate cinnamon with sweet food. Add a dash to this recipe and I promise it will not disappoint. "- Lmorgan74

Brown meat with onions and garlic. Cook rice. Cover cabbage with water in pot and cook until done (save water); drain. Mix all ingredients (except reserved water) in casserole sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour covered. Use reserved water from cabbage if casserole becomes too dry while baking.

dwb3 1 weeks agoIts a good simple recipe. I added one extra garlic clove, italian seasoning and top with fresh grated parmesan. The whole family liked it.

Nikhomemadegood 8 months agoGreat base recipe, but bland as others have mentioned. I added thyme, rosemary and paprika, and increased the garlic. Thanks for posting this shortcut for stuffed cabbage!
Cheryl06 2 years agoVery good! Much easier to prepare than Stuffed Cabbage Rolls. I added shredded mozzarella for the last 10 minutes of baking. We will definitely have this dish again!
Ocalamarilyn 2 years agoExcellent! Flavorful and sweet. I used brown sugar. If on WW program, each serving adds up to 8 points.
ckeen 4 years agoI was given ground bison by a friend. I had never cooked bison and my family was skeptical. I used it in this recipe and it was wonderful.
gburtch 4 years agoI thought this was good. It tasted like a stuffed green pepper. It needs quite a bit more salt and other seasonings to give it a big flavor boost.
brettnleosmom 4 years agoGreat way to use up a lot of cabbage; also way easier than making cabbage rolls.
