"Made this for the second time & seems to be getting better every time. This time I didn't dip it in eggs, just flour. The flour was all purpose with oregano, garlic salt, salt, & steak seasoning. Regarding the water & boullion, I boiled 2 cups of water to 4 boullion cubes. I added that to the juices left in the pan from the chops, simmered it for a minute, then poured it over the chops. Also to have some fun I added baby carrots that I cut in half. Leave it in the oven for 30 minutes & you have a sensational dish. My in-laws, husband, & I LOVE it. Pork Chops (tender, Oven-baked) Preparation
Dip chops in beaten egg and then in salted, peppered flour (cover well); add oil to frying pan and brown chops lightly. Place chops in glass 10 x 13 inch shallow pan.
Slice onion over chops and add more salt and pepper. Dissolve 2 chicken bouillon cubes in 1/2 cup boiling water and add this to drippings in frying pan. Pour this over chops.
Cover entire dish with foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
