Pork Chops (tender, Oven-baked)

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Meat - Steaks and Chops

I hope you enjoy these tender pork chops...

"Made this for the second time & seems to be getting better every time. This time I didn't dip it in eggs, just flour. The flour was all purpose with oregano, garlic salt, salt, & steak seasoning. Regarding the water & boullion, I boiled 2 cups of water to 4 boullion cubes. I added that to the juices left in the pan from the chops, simmered it for a minute, then poured it over the chops. Also to have some fun I added baby carrots that I cut in half. Leave it in the oven for 30 minutes & you have a sensational dish. My in-laws, husband, & I LOVE it. " - avelinaechavarria

Tried this recipe tonight. Was quick, easy & turned out fairly moist. Very tasty but I think I might add more spices next time. The sauce your pour on top was good but made it kind of salty. Definitely added to like list.

Accidentally forgot to dip in egg, which may have compromised its tenderness. Wil have to try again.

Good and tender, but I don't like the way the coating comes out soggy. I also want to tinker with the spices & add herbs to the flour mixture. One last thing....I wonder if it would work to elevate the chops on a rack placed inside a deep roasting pan? Might steam then yet keep them out of the liquid.

These are the juiciest, most flavorful pork chops I have ever made. We've made them several times and everyone raves about how good they are.

The whole family loves these and they are super easy to prepare. The onion is the key. It adds so much flavor to this dish.

Just made it for dinner. Parents loved it. Make it with Asparagus spears/ mushrooms and macaroni and cheese. I will make rice instead of mac and cheese next time. My Mom thought it kind of took away from the flavor of the pork chops. But other than that, they loved it.
