|2 1/4 cupsAll-purpose flour|
|1/3 cupDutch-processed cocoa powder|
|1 teaspoonBaking soda|
|3/4 cupBrown sugar; packed|
|3/4 cupbutter flavor shortening|
|1/3 cupcoffee-flavored liqueur|
|1 teaspoonVanilla extract|
|1 1/2 ouncesbittersweet chocolate; grated|
|6 ouncesmilk chocolate chips|
|6 ounceswhite chocolate chips|
|1/2 cuppecans; chopped|
Kahlua Indulgence Cookies Preparation
Heat oven to 375F.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; mix well.
In large bowl, use medium speed on your mixer to whip shortening with the white and brown sugars for 3-5 minutes until it is light and fluffy and the grains of sugar are disolved.
Add eggs one at a time, liqueur, vanilla and grated chocolate and mixed well.
Slowly stir in flour mixture until of uniform consistency.
Stir in white and milk chocolate chips and pecans.
Drop onto baking sheet in 1 tablespoon sized scoops 3 inches apart. Flatten the balls just a smidge.
Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until light brown.
