| 2 1/4 cupsAll-purpose flour |
| 1/3 cupDutch-processed cocoa powder |
| 1 teaspoonBaking soda |
| 1 teaspoonSalt |
| 3/4 cupSugar |
| 3/4 cupBrown sugar; packed |
| 3/4 cupbutter flavor shortening |
| 2 Eggs |
| 1/3 cupcoffee-flavored liqueur |
| 1 teaspoonVanilla extract |
| 1 1/2 ouncesbittersweet chocolate; grated |
| 6 ouncesmilk chocolate chips |
| 6 ounceswhite chocolate chips |
| 1/2 cuppecans; chopped |
Kahlua Indulgence Cookies Preparation
Heat oven to 375F.
Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; mix well.
In large bowl, use medium speed on your mixer to whip shortening with the white and brown sugars for 3-5 minutes until it is light and fluffy and the grains of sugar are disolved.
Add eggs one at a time, liqueur, vanilla and grated chocolate and mixed well.
Slowly stir in flour mixture until of uniform consistency.
Stir in white and milk chocolate chips and pecans.
Drop onto baking sheet in 1 tablespoon sized scoops 3 inches apart. Flatten the balls just a smidge.
Bake 11 to 12 minutes or until light brown.
