Smoky Texas Broil
Original recipe makes 2
| 1 tablespoonapple cider vinegar |
| 1 tspcoarse black pepper; garlic powder, mustard seed |
| 1/2 tspMesquite Seasoning (I used Weber brand); smoky paprika |
| 1/4 tspliquid Smoke |
| 1 pinchcayenne pepper |
| salt; to taste |
| 1 tablespooncanola or olive oil |
| 1 largeTexas Broil steak |
Smoky Texas Broil Preparation
In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar and seasonings. Whisk in oil. Check for taste and adjust as desired.
Pour marinade into a large ziploc bag. Add steak and marinate overnight.
Allow steak to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
Preheat grill on medium heat.
Add steak and grill to desired doneness. Let rest a few minutes before serving.
