Original recipe makes 6
1 poundGround beef; chuck
1 cupPotatoes; thinly sliced
1 cupCarrots; thinly sliced
1 Onion; thinly sliced
1 canCream of Chicken Soup
1/2 cupCheddar cheese; shredded

Beef and Potato Casserole Preparation

Press gound beef into casserole dish.

Cover with layers of patatoes, layer of carrots, and layer of onions.

Pour soup over dish.

Cover and cook at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.

Reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue cooking for 1 hour.

Sprinke with cheese as soon as removing from oven.

Pretty good! I added some seasonings, because the recipe didn't call for any. Next time I will use cream of mushroom instead of chicken. Very easy and very good! There were no leftovers for us!

My husband loved this! We added some chopped onion, garlic and bell pepper to the meat and sprinkled French fried onions on top with the cheese.
