These look like bakery cookies!

"I used a combination of chocolate chips and chunks since I had both in the pantry. These are big, chewy, delicious cookies! The recipe is nearly the same as another I posted, although this dough is slightly more easy to mix... either one is fantastic!" - 1morestamp

1/2 teaspoonBaking soda

3/4 cupUnsalted butter
1 cupBrown sugar; packed
1/2 cupSugar
1 tablespoonVanilla extract
1 Egg
1 Egg yolk
2 cupsSemisweet chocolate chips

The Best Big & Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever! Preparation

Preheat your oven to 325? Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

Sift together flour, baking soda & salt; set aside.

In medium bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugars until well blended. Beat in vanilla, egg and egg yolk until light & creamy.

Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Fold in chocolate chips by hand.

Drop dough onto cookie sheets (approx 1/4 cup), about 3 inches apart.

Bake for 15-17 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on baking sheets for a couple minutes before moving to wire cooling rack. I place a tea towel over the wire racks and put the cookies on top of the towel. The cookies seem to stay softer this way.

Just tried these for the first time. My 3 daughters say they're amazing. I agree. Easy to make, too.

I absolutely love this recipe. Just as its written. The dough itself is amazing. I could happily eat it without baking it. And the baked cookies are perfectly chocolaty and delicious.

I love these cookies! I make them as the recipe says. I'm pretty sure that this is a Christopher Kimball recipe (from Cooks Illustrated). I like to give credit where credit is due.

P.S. if you want them thick and fluffy use about 1/2 cup more flour and only soften the butter. Delicious!!

These are the best cookies I've ever had. I've tried 5 diff CC cookie recipes from here and I was weary to try another one, didn't think they could be that different. Wow was I wrong. These are amazing! Thank you!!

These are awesome! They are devoured every time I make and take them somewhere. I always make at least a double batch. They are even better with M&ms. Try leaving the dough in the fridge over night before baking.

I made these to bring to work and everyone loved them. I did melt the butter next time I will try it that way. As soon as I took them out of the oven I sifted powdered sugar over them
