Family loved them. Would prefer to substitute some of the oats with coconut and some seeds/nuts for added nutrition.

Was the very 1st thing I learned to cook way back when. They were called "Boiled Cookies" because thats how you cook them. Also I use 1/2 Cup Evaporated Milk and 3 Cups Sugar but no Salt. You can also use raisins, coconut just adjust the oats.

I decreased the sugar by 3/4 cup and it turned out perfect!! Plenty sweet enough.
